Join us for the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Virtual Litter Enforcement Trainings on June 17 and 24, 2020 at 1:00-2:30 pm. This will be a two part webinar series.
Litter Enforcement Trainings assist local municipalities and parishes with the establishment of litter courts and enforcement to fight their litter problems to keep Louisiana clean and beautiful. The training gives local governments the tools and resources to begin a successful and self funded litter court. City and parish governments, administrators, constables, sheriffs, police chiefs, elected officials, and affiliates are invited to attend the free training. Training will be hosted by Rick Moore, retired Major of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs Office and Constable of St. Tammany Parish. Rick established the St. Tammany litter court in 2015 and oversees all litter enforcement, dump sites, and abandon vehicle cases in the parish.
Environmental law enforcement training workshops provide a unique opportunity to hear from federal, state and local law enforcement regarding environmental crimes and environmental laws. Speakers will provide important information regarding the laws and actions regarding illegal dumping and burning, water pollution, littering and air pollution.
