Coming to a library near you! Keep Louisiana Beautiful has partnered with the Louisiana Public Library System to make litter clean up supplies readily available for check out at local libraries across the state. You will be able to use your library card to check out a clean up kit, which includes a safety vest, grabbers, a trash bag, and instructions on how to conduct your cleanup. This program provides the perfect opportunity for students to get service hours for school. It’s also a great hands-on way for families, small homeschool groups, youth groups, and scouts to care for their neighborhood.

More About the Program
The goal of this program is to empower Louisiana residents to take pride in their communities and clean up litter where they live, work, and play. Litter is hurting our environment and our quality of life. If we all do our part to clean up litter and prevent it from occurring in the first place, we will experience a cleaner, greener Louisiana.
Library cardholders can check out clean up supplies and return them within one week. This program provides the perfect opportunity for students to get service hours for school. It’s also a great hands-on way for families, small homeschool groups, youth groups, and scouts to care for their neighborhood.
Information on participating libraries is coming soon! KLB will officially launch the program this Spring.
