Affiliate Bi-Monthly Conference Call

Affiliates are invited and encouraged to join a virtual affiliate conference call. KLB will send a link to the meeting one week prior to the date of the call and a reminder the day before the call.  Times offered are 8am and 3pm, and affiliates may choose which time is more convenient for them.

Affiliate Grant Applications

All 2022 Affiliate Grant applications are due: the Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant; the Cleanup Supplies Affiliate Grant; and the Affiliate Program Grant. Affiliates may apply for two different grants. **Note: Affiliates that have received the Cleanup Supply grant two years in a row may not apply until the following year. Community Affiliates in Circle of Excellence may apply for two different Affiliate Grants and Community Affiliates in formation that has met requirements may apply for one grant.

Love the Boot Event Week

All interested affiliates organizing a cleanup or beautification event during Love The Boot Week (4/17/23-4/23/23) should officially register. Keep Louisiana Beautiful will post all registered events on the website; however, specific event details and contact information will only be published for those events that are open to receiving volunteers from the general public. Conducting a Love the Boot event is a requirement for the Circle of Excellence Award.

The Affiliate Program Grant Report is due for affiliates that received a 2022-23 KLB Affiliate Program Grant.

Affiliate directors, board members, and partners are encouraged and invited to attend one of the three Regional Meetings. Attendance at the regional meeting is one of the requirements to receive KLB’s Circle of Excellence Award, which provides $500 for your affiliate and is a part of the KLB support plan offered to affiliates. Registration is required.

2022 State Conference

The annual State Conference and Everyday Hero Awards Banquet will take place at the Baton Rouge Hilton Capitol Center on October 10 and 11. All those interested in working towards a greener, cleaner, more beautiful Louisiana are invited to attend. Industry experts, civic officials, and anti-litter advocates from across the state will gather to present and share real-world applications for environmental stewardship in local communities.

Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant Report

The Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant Report is due for affiliates that received a 2022 Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant. This includes a litter assessment, a copy of your press release, a copy of your legislative letter, and photos of installed receptacles with signage.

Love the Boot Week Registration Opens

Registration opens today to the first 250 groups (businesses, organizations, schools, etc.) to register an event will receive a cleanup kit with gloves, shirts, and trash bags. The first 100 individuals and families to register an event will receive a day pass for a Louisiana State Park (one per household).
