All 2021 Affiliate Grant applications are due: the Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant; the Cleanup Supplies Affiliate Grant; the Environmental Education Affiliate Grant; and the Affiliate Program Grant. Affiliates may apply for two different grants. **Note: Affiliates that have received the Cleanup Supply grant two years in a row may not apply until the following year.
Love the Boot Week, the state’s largest community engagement and pride campaign, empowers residents, businesses, schools, organizations, and local and state governments to show their love for Louisiana by organizing or volunteering for beautification and litter cleanup events throughout the week.

The Cleanup Supplies Affiliate Grant Report is for affiliates that received the 2020-21 Cleanup Supplies Affiliate Grant. This includes a copy of your press release, legislative letter, and data from the cleanup as part of the grant requirement.

Affiliates interested in planning an event for America Recycles Day may find how to organize an event, participate, or volunteer at an event.
The Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant Report is due for affiliates that received a 2020 Trash Receptacle Affiliate Grant. This includes a litter assessment, a copy of your press release, a copy of your legislative letter, and photos of installed receptacles with signage.
Affiliates that received a 2020-21 Healthy Communities Grant are required to submit this mid-year report.

KLB invites teachers K-5th to attend a free environmental education workshop to introduce a program focused on helping students become good environmental stewards. The program contains 10 environmental lesson plans, hands-on, interactive activities, fun worksheets, grade-level student standards, and supplemental resources. Topics include defining litter, the timeline of trash, litter decomposition, watershed, clean water, effects on wildlife, plastics pollution, reducing, reusing, recycling, and civic responsibility.
