Leaders Against Litter is an annual event that showcases our community leaders and elected officials “leading the way” in our charge against litter.

Shreveport Green is looking for volunteers for the 28th annual Great American Cleanup happening on April 14 from 8 a.m to noon. Registration is open until March 31. Keep Louisiana Beautiful will be at the State Capitol Rotunda from 10am until 3pm to share the importance of our work with Louisiana legislators.

Keep St. Mary Beautiful and leaders from around St. Mary Parish will pick up trash and debris along the roadside leading to and from Albania Plantation, 21200 La. 182 in Jeanerette.

Hammond's Household Hazardous Waste  Recycling Day will be held at Zemurray Park, 406 S. Oak Street.

The T.E.C.H.E. Project, Keep St. Martin Beautiful, and Project Front Yard are hosting a litter cleanup in Magnolia Park. Volunteers will remove debris from the Bayou Teche (by way of canoe), through the park grounds, and in the abutting subdivision "Durand Subdivision." There will be music, drinks, and lunch provided to the volunteers.
