Clean Biz Spotlight: First Federal Bank of Louisiana
With a legacy of more than 75 years serving Louisiana communities, First Federal Bank of Louisiana continues to demonstrate that being a community bank means more than financial services. It means showing up, giving back, and investing in the places they call home. One way First Federal Bank of Louisiana gives back is by picking up litter as a Clean Biz Partner, including participating in Love the Boot Week, Louisiana’s largest statewide litter removal and beautification effort.
Through ongoing support of local initiatives, volunteer efforts, and community partnerships, their team is committed to making a meaningful impact beyond the bank walls. That commitment is reflected in their hands-on approach to beautification and litter prevention.
“Picking up litter may seem small, but it’s a simple way to care for the place we call home. The effort we make today leaves a lasting impact on our community,” shared John Paul Timpa, Risk Manager and 2025 Volunteer of the Year.
Their culture of leadership and community pride continues to inspire others to take action.
“Leading by example through acts like picking up litter shows pride in our community and care for the places we share. When others see that example, it encourages them to take part in something bigger!” said Kelsey Vincent, Marketing & Community Impact Specialist.
Thank you to First Federal Bank of Louisiana for helping keep Louisiana beautiful and for leading by example in the communities they serve.
The Clean Biz Program encourages businesses of all sizes to take simple daily actions to reduce and prevent litter and keep their properties clean and well-maintained. Participating businesses commit to best practices like maintaining litter-free parking areas, providing proper trash receptacles, and supporting community cleanup efforts. In return, participants receive recognition, marketing tools, and signage that highlight their commitment to a cleaner, more beautiful Louisiana.
