    Great American Cleanup: Shreveport

    Shreveport Green is looking for volunteers for the 28th annual Great American Cleanup happening on April 14 from 8 a.m to noon. Registration is open until March 31. The first 600 volunteers to sign up will receive a Great American Cleanup t-shirt (while supplies last). On the day of the cleanup there will be food, prizes, and informational booths. ...

    Great American Cleanup – St. Mary

    April 28, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

    Keep St. Mary Beautiful and leaders from around St. Mary Parish will pick up trash and debris along the roadside leading to and from Albania Plantation, 21200 La. 182 in Jeanerette.

    Hammond's Household Hazardous Waste  Recycling Day will be held at Zemurray Park, 406 S. Oak Street.

    Bayou Teche Spring Clean

    May 26, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

    The T.E.C.H.E. Project, Keep St. Martin Beautiful, and Project Front Yard are hosting a litter cleanup in Magnolia Park. Volunteers will remove debris from the Bayou Teche (by way of canoe), through the park grounds, and in the abutting subdivision "Durand Subdivision." There will be music, drinks, and lunch provided to the volunteers.
