KLB Foundation

The KLB Foundation is the non-profit fundraising arm of Keep Louisiana Beautiful, a state program under the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism that promotes personal, corporate, and community responsibility for a clean and beautiful Louisiana. KLB supports local communities through programs and resources for litter education, prevention, removal, enforcement, beautification, recycling, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives. The Foundation serves to amplify KLB’s efforts statewide through the engagement of stakeholders and the raising of private funds.

Love the Boot

Love the Boot Week, held every April, is Louisiana’s largest litter removal and beautification effort, bringing awareness to our state’s litter problem while empowering organizations and individual citizens to clean up litter and beautify spaces in their communities. Events are held in all 64 parishes, mobilizing 30,000 people to care for their communities.

Love Our Waterways

Love Our Waterways is Louisiana’s largest waterway cleanup, taking place throughout September. Support the clean-up our state’s rivers, lakes, bayous, and coastal shoreline. Our 14,400-mile waterway system is Louisiana’s lifeblood, essential to the vitality of our environment, economy, health, and culture.

State Conference

Keep Louisiana Beautiful’s State Conference is an annual educational training and networking forum welcoming all individuals, Keep America Beautiful Affiliates, universities, state and local governmental agencies, community and business partners, and non-profit organizations.
