Staff Spotlight: Shelby Pelafigue, Programs and Events Manager

Keep Louisiana Beautiful would like to welcome Shelby Pelafigue to the team as our Programs and Events Manager!
“I’m so excited to be a part of this powerful team of changemakers,” said Shelby. “Louisiana is my home, and I want to ensure that it’s clean and beautiful for future generations. I’m proud of the work we are doing here at Keep Louisiana Beautiful. It’s rewarding to see people all across Louisiana join the growing movement to put a stop to litter.”
Shelby has over ten years of experience in non-profits, healthcare, retail, and the legal sector. She previously served as Marketing and Events Coordinator at the Hospice of Acadiana Foundation, where she led efforts in development, marketing, and event planning. In this role, Shelby helped to build meaningful connections and organize impactful events that supported the foundation’s mission.
Shelby earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and catching a theatre production whenever she can.
