Affiliate Spotlight: Keep Bossier Beautiful Prunes 60+ Trees

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Keep Bossier Beautiful staff and volunteers completed a successful beautification project on February 12 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home, pruning over 60 trees.

Pruning, or the removal of branches, buds, or roots for plant growth, is preventative maintenance for young and established plants. Routine pruning protects plants, people, and property from injury, pests, and damage.

“We were honored to help keep the grounds beautiful and serene for the residents who have served and fought for our freedom,” says Lynn Bryan, Executive Director of Keep Bossier Beautiful.

Keep Bossier Beautiful thanks Ahern Rental for loaning a heavy duty brush chipper to clean up the pruning debris.
