Representative John Illg has shown a longstanding commitment to ending litter in Louisiana through his leadership and advocacy. He has championed legislation to ban balloon releases and led the charge in passing a bill expanding the jurisdiction of state park rangers, empowering them to enforce litter laws statewide—a change that could transform how Louisiana addresses simple and gross littering.
