Litter-Free Schools
schools committed to environmental stewardship

Empowering Youth
By reaching students at a formative age (grades K-5), this program creates lasting behavior change that reduces litter, strengthens school pride, and builds a culture of environmental responsibility statewide. Students don’t just learn, they act, delivering visible results on school campuses and in surrounding neighborhoods. The impact extends beyond the classroom, creating cleaner communities, stronger civic engagement, and measurable outcomes that benefit Louisiana today and for generations to come.
As part of our Litter-Free Louisiana Schools program, KLB will provide each K-5 student with our Litter-Free Louisiana Activity Book. Children will learn about environmental stewardship, litter, and recycling. Included are activities that encourage reflection, problem-solving, and creativity.
