One Conference, Two Days, Endless Environmental Impact.

Passionate about preserving and protecting our ecosystem? Committed to eliminating roadside litter? Ready to reduce, reuse and recycle? Keep Louisiana Beautiful’s 13th Annual State Conference is designed to stimulate statewide environmental improvement by educating attendees on the most up-to-date information on litter, recycling and state beautification. The two-day conference is also dedicated to sparking new ideas on protecting Louisiana for future generations.

Slated for Sept. 28-29 in Baton Rouge, the conference will feature industry experts, affiliate leaders, Keep America Beautiful professionals, state partnering agencies and environmental enthusiasts from across the Gulf Coast who will gather to learn best practices and share resources.

Whether you want to learn how to reduce waste at your upcoming festival, raise funds to support your work, or calculate the cost of blight in your neighborhood, the conference has sessions for every interest. Invited guests include Governor John Bel Edwards, First Lady Donna Edwards, Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, DEQ Deputy Secretary Denise Bennett and Baton Rouge Mayor Kip Holden.

Additional topics on the agenda include reducing plastic bag usage, green schools, environmental education for elementary students and environmental enforcement.

The conference will be held at the Galvez Building Conference Center in Baton Rouge. Registration for the two-day conference is only $100.  Registration is currently open.
