The Keep Louisiana Beautiful annual state conference and Everyday Hero Awards Banquet will take place on September 25-26 in Baton Rouge, LA at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center. All those interested in working towards a greener, cleaner, more beautiful Louisiana are invited to attend. Industry experts, civic officials, and anti-litter advocates from across the state will gather to present and share best practices that encourage environmental stewardship in practical ways that attendees can bring back to their own communities. State Conference Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the 2019 Keep Louisiana Beautiful Annual State Conference and we encourage all those interested in working towards a greener, cleaner, more beautiful Louisiana to attend. The conference will take place on September 25-26 at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center.

  • Keynote Address: How the State Handles Roadside and Interstate Litter by Secretary Shawn Wilson, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development
  • Food Matters: Empowering Communities to Tackle Food Waste by Jane Polson of Keep America Beautiful
  • Leaders highlight how they are improving the appearance of their city through good green policies and programs by Mayor Staci Albritton-Mitchell, City of West Monroe and Parish President Robby Miller of Tangipahoa
  • Place Matters: Neighborhood Influences on Health and Violence by Katherine Theall, Professor and Director of the Tulane Mary Amelia Women’s Center
  • Plogging Panel: A New Twist to Traditional Litter Cleanups
Everyday Heroes Awards Banquet
Each year, Keep Louisiana Beautiful seeks nominations to honor those that go the extra mile to keep our communities clean, beautiful, and litter-free. Nominations are available in eight categories. Anyone can nominate someone for an award, and you may nominate as many people as you’d like.
Nominations are due on August 30. Categories include the Alice Foster Award, Golden Can Award, Most Innovative Program, Youth Award, Outstanding Affiliate, Outstanding Affiliate Director, and the Law Enforcement Recognition Award.
Award recipients will be recognized at our Everyday Heroes Awards Banquet in Baton Rouge on September 25th, so that we can share their achievements with colleagues and friends and thank them for their tremendous contributions. This year, we will honor and celebrate Cox Conserves Heroes as well. We look forward to receiving your nominations!

Exhibitor Information

Thank you for your interest in joining us as an exhibitor at the 2019 Keep Louisiana Beautiful State Conference. We expect 150 attendees at this year’s conference. Our attendees come from all corners of the state, representing various non-profit organizations, state agencies, and local jurisdictions. They are passionate about protecting Louisiana’s natural resources, reducing waste and pollution, and spreading education and awareness statewide to promote a cleaner, greener Louisiana. We appreciate your partnership and presence at our annual conference and hope that it will be successful for your organization as well as our attendees.

Please note that the exhibitor registration fee of $350 provides for the attendance of one organizational representative to attend the conference sessions for both days, and includes lunch. Exhibitors may register additional attendees or purchase tickets to attend Wednesday evening’s Everyday Hero Awards Banquet.

Exhibitors will be provided with one six-foot table and one chairs. Electricity is provided, but exhibitors should bring extension cords and power strips.

Exhibitors must set up on Wednesday, September 25th between 7:30 and 8:30am in the Riverview Room of the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. Exhibitor breakdown must be completed no later than Thursday, September 26th at 3pm.
